HOLINESS BY ROBERT MULHEARN An opportunity to understand the more conceptual meaning behind holiness, and the power that is all to often only associated with being set apart by obedience rather than being close enough to God to see his power manifest in our lives.
DRIFT AWAY BY ROBERT MULHEARN As we look to Jesus, we have to ensure we avoid the drift that occurs in our faith - we remain mindful of the escape the world claims to offer and through scripture we are reminded that our true escape is from the world in hand with Jesus
RESTRAINT BIAS BY ROBERT MULHEARN We begin our study of Hebrews with careful consideration, as we try to understand the purpose of the letter written to this unknown group of Hebrews and then apply its many principles to our own lives.
TRAIN OUR FAITH BY AARON ARCILLA GUEST SPEAKER An officials son needs a miracle in order to survive; only his fathers faithful interaction will change the outcome as we inspect the interaction between a desperate man who comes to faith in Jesus contrasted by our own hearts when we come to Jesus with our needs and desperation.
A CROWN THAT LASTS BY JORDAN DEQUINA Paul writes his letter to the church in Corinth to remind them of the value of what we possess. To be truly free under Christ rather than a slave to the world and our own desires. He uses his captivity as an example of freedom, continuing to run a race in order to win the prize that matters in the next life.
DO YOU BELIEVE BY ROBERT MULHEARN We transition our attention to Thomas as Jesus continues to appear to his people post resurrection. We find a man who wants to believe, but based on the circumstance cannot without help and access to deep conviction bring himself to believe the truth of the Gospel.
RESURRECTION EYES BY JEREMY NEWTON-JOHN The resurrection is a defining moment for the cosmos, as Jesus overcomes death and with new life brings the forgiveness of sins. It would seem to be a joyous occasion, but it is not until we see this event with the right perspective that we understand its joy. We look at three unique versions of Jesus' new life and how we must be careful about the lens we view it through.
GOD IS IN CONTROL BY SCOTT BURDON It appears as though Jesus is under the power of Roman and Jewish oppression, yet he clearly states his power over the situation based on his faith in God's plan for salvation. We are called to now place our faith in Jesus as he plans to return and once again have power over all circumstance.
WHAT IS TRUTH? BY ROBERT MULHEARN Jesus' interactions with Pilate reveal the underlying tension he faced when choosing to send Jesus to his death. The pressure both from the Jewish ruling council and Rome create immense conflict in a decision regarding an innocent man - in the end we too face these pressures as the world tries to get us to adopt its truth, rather than the truth of scripture and Jesus' life.
RUN TO THE OLIVE PRESS BY ROBERT MULHEARN Jesus returns to Gethsemane in order to hand his will over to God one final time before death. Jesus' pattern of needing time with God was so clear Judas knew where to find him. We too need these patterned times with God at the Olive Press in order to reap the benefits which act powerfully to keep us convicted and faithful.
