FIRST ENCOUNTERS BY ROBERT MULHEARN What can be learned from Paul's visit to those in Thessalonica and how can we apply these teachings to our lives - it would seem quite a lot as we look intently into the word of God to change our habits and heart when making disciples
POWER OF PRAYER BY ROBERT MULHEARN We look at the astounding power of prayer, and its legacy of consistent change in the gospels and early church by allowing the disciples and apostles access to the power of heaven itself. But in order to access that power, a disciplined and purposeful prayer life is required.
MOTIVATED BY THE SPIRIT BY ROB MULHEARN Paul having moved on from Berea to Athens, is unable to contain the message. He ends up preaching in the midst of Athens Philosopher elite - but the message does not change as he brings to light the age old problem of the world and peoples inability to escape their own motives and desires.
GOOD, BETTER, BEST FOR GOD BY ROBERT MULHEARN Paul and Barnabas part company over a disagreement - but see the results of those who choose what is best if God's eyes. We hope to have the conviction of Paul who in every way is sold out for Christ and is concerned with surrounding himself with the same kind of men in order to win over the world.
A GOD OF BOTH WORLDS BY JEREMY NEWTON-JOHN A miraculous escape from prison generates great faith among the believers and a reminder that God has complete control over our world. This idea is only heightened with the death of Herod, as our mind set transitions to the world beyond this one.
THE SCATTERED WORD BY ROB MULHEARN Philip is a great example of faithful action in light of suffering and circumstance, going to a country Jesus said would not accept the word and proclaiming a message that would expose their hearts. In his wake is a church with a scattered future, but one that still has impact.
THE DEATH OF STEPHEN BY ROB MULHEARN Stephen's death is tragic but reminds us of how powerful we are through Christ, that we are allowed to stand beside Jesus as an heir in the kingdom of God and even while on this earth his power shines through even to convert those we least expect.
ORIENT YOURSELF TOWARDS GOD BY ROB MULHEARN If God is at the centre and we are constantly having our hearts facing him then the results are continued devotion, along with strong faith as we bring the strong message of Christ to a world in desperate need of a saviour
THE MIRACLE OF DEVOTION BY ROB MULHEARN Peter pleads withe the people, was devoted to disciples and as a result the church grows radically. We today need to be the same, pleading with the world, being devoted to one another through speaking truth in love and hospitality and the result will be radical growth.
