A Note from Pastor Andy
Dear Friends,
ThinkingGrace seeks to glorify God by promoting the great doctrines of the faith, which were laid down in Scripture, restored to the Church by the Reformers, and affirmed by Baptists in the 1689 Confession of Faith.
There is a growing need for a clear communication of these truths in fresh terms for the twenty-first century. As the culture of North America grows increasingly hostile to the Christian worldview, it becomes imperative for God's people and their leaders to be rooted in the faith once delivered to the saints.
Through the prophet Hosea, The Word of God warns us, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. 'Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests'." (Hosea 6:4 NIV) We can't afford to neglect this knowledge any longer. We must pursue a right knowledge of the things of God if we are to adequately meet the intellectual, religious and political challenges of our day.
Therefore, ThinkingGrace Ministries invites you to ponder with us. It is time for Christian men and women to value the grace-filled hard work of thinking about God's word. For, as John Piper has said, "The grace of understanding comes through thinking, as opposed to not thinking."
